Case Night is a party game. It has no accounts, no ads and no tracking. Here is everything it stores, and how to get it removed.
What we store
- During a game: the names you type, the roles you pick, your team name, your answers, hints, interview questions and the game clock. This is how every phone and the TV stay in sync.
- After a game: a record of the finished run (team name, player names, time, hints used, whether it was solved) for play history and the leaderboards. Each phone also gets a random device ID so the app can tell when someone replays a case within 3 months.
- Team photos, only if you take one: the photo is public to anyone with its link and appears next to your time on the leaderboard.
- On your phone: your name, your device ID and a copy of the current game, so a refresh doesn't kick you out.
What we don't do
- No sign-ups, emails or passwords.
- No ads, analytics or tracking pixels.
- We never sell or share your data.
- Your camera and microphone are never used, except when you choose to take a team photo.
How long we keep it
- Game sessions are deleted automatically after 14 days.
- Run history and team photos stay until you ask us to remove them.
Data is stored with Supabase (database and photo storage) and the site is served by Cloudflare.
Remove your data
Tell us what to remove and we'll delete it, usually within a week. The game code and team name help us find it quickly.
